I'm a solo private-practice clinician, practicing independently in the Triangle since 2005. I enjoy having a general psychiatric practice, where I work with a range of mental health concerns, helping people (ages 18 and up) navigate life's challenges and achieve their goals.
Training and education - Undergraduate degree from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. Medical degree from Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. Residency training in psychiatry from Duke University in Durham, NC. Maintaining board certification in general adult psychiatry since 2006. Work experience - Formerly a staff psychiatrist at Counseling & Psychological Services at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I continue to serve as a clinical adjunct assistant professor in psychiatry at UNC, where I have supervised trainees in psychotherapy.
